Dirty Dash

This summer Heidi and her cousin Michelle, registered for the Dirty Dash 5k in Soldier Hollow. Now what is the Dirty Dash? It is a mud run obstacle course where you jump over hay bails, crawl through tunnels filled with mud, jump over walls, run up and down many hills. It definatley isn't an ordinary 5k. if you click on this link you can see more pictures that the professional photographers took of Heidi during the race: http://www.flo-foto.com/photos.php?RaceId=17&BibNumber=241
You can also check this link out of the video in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mk5rtyB84fk Note: you may want to turn the music down at the bottom to hear the sound. This video makes it look so much easier that it really was. Heidi is in it at 2:17-2:18 (going down the slide)
Here are a few other pictures of that day. Enjoy!
Stretching before the race

The slip n' slide
She made it at 58:23 seconds which placed her at 211 out of 5,000 runners.

Its been a while

Wow where to start? Has it really been since November that we sat down to update everyone on what our family has been doing?

Since that time Lynn now has full ownership of Terrafirma Landscape, thanks to his business partner Lance who owns Wholesale Landscape Supply. Quinn now works with Lynn and is a great asset to the company. David is also working on the crew with his brother and dad.

I myself have been trying to adjust with the kids busy lifestyles and trying to keep up with them. I have been enjoying working in the yard and gardening.

Quinn and Brandy have been married one year and I now have a grand-dog named Rusty. Brandy is working a Cabelas and will be going to UVU in the fall.

Micheala has been busy with volunteering at Courage Reigns and babysitting for families in the neighborhood.

Brittany is home this summer and is working at Wholesale Landscape Supply working in the nursery. She will be going back to Snow this fall and should be graduated with her Associates this next spring. She is thinking about going into social work.

Heidi is an administrative assistant for Wholesale Landscape Supply. She records all the contractor invoices, files preliminary notices, and helps customers with any questions that they may have. She usually works 50 hours a week and is always on the run. She still is planning on going into Physical Therapy and will be going back to school in the fall.

Crystal is working at Maceys in Pleasant Grove and is also working part time as a dental assistant. With both jobs and having fun with friends she keeps herself busy.

David will be 17 this August. He sure is enjoying the dating life and bought himself a new horse named Trigger which he rides any spare time he has.
Well that’s it for now. We will be shortly adding pictures of the past couple months.
